Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a cause of staph infection that is difficult to treat because of resistance to some antibiotics. Staph infections can spread in hospitals, other health care facilities, and in the community. It’s important that everyone helps prevent infection and stop the spread of MRSA.
