The Rory Staunton Foundation for Sepsis Prevention
This foundation was created by the parents of Rory Staunton, who was 12 when he died of sepsis following a scrape on the elbow while playing basketball. With the goal of reducing sepsis-related deaths, particularly in children, the foundation provides education and outreach that focuses on faster diagnosis and effective treatment of sepsis.
